There are a few brands of CBD infused coffee on the market, yet it is not so easy to pick the best one without tasting it in the first place. We’ll try to do just that and teach you how to go shopping for the ultimate CBD coffee of your choice.
Here are a couple of pointers to follow during your next purchase.
How Much CBD per Coffee Cup
If this is your first time ordering CBD coffee, you should be reminded that with each delicious sip of coffee, you’ll be taking in cannabidiol as well.
Try not to go over the recommended dosage when having CBD oil infused coffee. By that, we don’t refer to the dosage recommended by the brand (if any of them makes such claims). The recommended dosage is clearly individual as it depends on various factors: your age, weight, sex, medical history, and many others.
No matter how temptingly mouth-watering a cup of CBD coffee is to you, do not try to drink an amount of CBD oil in coffee that exceeds your recommended daily intake.
Isolate, Broad, or Full Spectrum
The more, the merrier, or in this case, the more cannabinoids and terpenes in CBD coffee beans. That way, you get more ingredients, along with their synergistic effects, for the same price — as in the case of full-spectrum coffee.
Of course, the THC level is still less than 0.3%, even in full-spectrum products. Will it get you high? No, definitely not. It will provide some health benefits, but you can rest assured your mind will be alert.
Yet, be warned, regular intake of even such negligible amounts of THC via CBD infused coffee may cause a build-up in your body and make you positive on a drug test despite all the odds.
Blends and Roasts
Which roast is the best: light, medium, or dark? Answering this question makes as much sense as asking someone whether they prefer their steak rare, medium, or well-done.
Basically, choosing an Arabica over an Ethiopian blend is absolutely 100% biased. Namely, it’s perfectly fine for you to grind dark roast cannabis coffee beans while your friend swears by the light roast.
We would also advise you to study the acidity of the blend since this should tell you a lot about the coffee flavor.
Third-Party Lab Results
The easiest way to tell a professional, high-quality hemp coffee brand from a dubious one is to look for the laboratory analysis by a lab other than their own. These should be available online (preferred) or available by request.
That way, we can be positive that our coffee is infused with cannabidiol free of any harmful ingredients, such as mold, heavy metals, pesticides, etc.
