America’s Very First Cannabis Cafe Welcomes Guests

Foodies in Los Angeles will be thrilled to hear that the city introduced its brand new cannabis-friendly restaurant called Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe; and it also features vegan options!

The innovative cafe, supported by celebrities such as Miley Cyrus and Mark Ronson, Sarah Silverman and Chris Rock, opened its doors in West Hollywood on Tuesday. According to David Elias, the co-founder, and CEO of Lowell, they are thrilled to have such artistic and creative endorsements.

Based on info by Forbes, Lowell Herb Co. is the “fastest-growing and best-selling cannabis brand in California” and the cafe is estimated to have cost the brand more than 3 million dollars. The new 6,000 square feet hot spot for cannabis lovers includes a chic dining room, lounge area, and an outdoor cafe where the staff guides the guests in deciding which type of cannabis product they should try out first. The best thing about it is that the guest can get high any they want, inside or outside on the porch.

However, the edibles are made off-site.  The cafe is unable to serve cannabis-infused food due to rigid California laws. Guests needn’t worry too much, because Andrea Drummer, the executive chef at the cafe, has put together the perfect menu to make sure that every single food item complements cannabis. Lowell Farms: A Cannabis Cafe offers yummy edibles, oils, and custom-made vaporizer pens.

Drummer, a skilled chef known for utilizing cannabis in many of her recipes, has experience in creating delicious meals for cannabis-fanatic stars such as Wiz Khalifa and Chelsea Handler. The most mouth-watering vegan options at the cafe’s menu include the Vegan Nachos, The Black Bean Burger and the impressive Bahn Mi.

Even though the cafe just recently opened, it has already managed to attract and serve more than 650 on its opening day in September! Stop by if you have the chance — you will definitely love it!
