Beyoncé Announces Her Own CBD and Honey Farm
In an interview for Harper’s Bazaar magazine, Beyoncé Knowles-Carter (40), the R&B superstar, announced building her own cannabis farm in order to reap the full benefits of CBD.
This news should come as no surprise as there are other so-called “weed queens” already in business. Likewise, her husband Jay-Z — the famous rapper and producer — built his cannabis empire Monogram just a few years back.
What’s more, the power couple recently attended a weed-powered birthday party of former president Barack Obama. Nevertheless, they weren’t the ones who shared weed-smoking pictures on social media; instead, this was done by Trap Beckham and TJ Chapman.
As for how “Queen B” found out about the benefits of CBD, the story goes like this: during her last tour she badly needed some relief from severe soreness and inflammation. Naturally, she heard of CBD so she tried it and her symptoms slowly withdrew.
In fact, the R&B queen claims that CBD also helped her with restless nights and agitation.
Now, the idea to build her own CBD farm came to her during the lockdown last year. This is when the multiple Grammy-winner realized the importance of mental health and the potential of CBD.
But wait, there’s more!
In addition to CBD, she’ll also be producing another natural product with potent healing powers — honey.
As a result, she’ll finally live up to her nickname — “Queen B.”
Jokes aside, her future business ventures have even more in store. Namely, Beyoncé said she planned to turn the industry upside-down and fight against systemic racism.
This statement is quite similar to what Jay-Z once told the newspapers regarding Monogram — that he wants to build a legacy based on equity, access, and justice.
