Kush Queen to Launch Tasty New CBG Mood Gummies
The cannabis market is expanding rapidly (though these weeks it’s having a tough time due to the ongoing pandemic); practically every week a new cannabis-infused product hits the market, making it hard to keep track.
However, one recent launch, in particular, has caught our attention — Kush Queen’s Gummies RX Bliss, infused with cannabigerol (CBG), focused on improving the sleep and mood of users.
In addition, Kush Queen added some minor cannabinoids, such as CBN and CBG, into the mix along with CBD in a 1:1 ratio.
The company’s main goals are to create new, more effective wellness products that will elevate its users daily. The key to all this? CBG. The company believes that this is the next big thing that will take the cannabis wellness and beauty industry to the next level.
CBG comes from the hemp plant, just like CBD. As such, it’s a non-psychoactive chemical — in other words, it doesn’t get you high.
What’s more, these products are perfectly legal so as long as the THC concentration — the psychoactive compound found in cannabis plants — is below the federal limit of 0.3%.
This is why CBD-infused products can be found almost everywhere, from Walgreens and CVD to Target, and CBG products may very well join them on the stores’ shelves soon enough.
Now, CBG is present in hemp in even smaller amounts than CBD, which makes it even harder to extract and study than CBD. Yet, some studies have shown that it has immense potential for treating conditions such as:
- IBD — a study with mice showed that CBG reduced their bowel inflammation.
- Huntington’s disease — this is a neurodegenerative disorder; a study with mice found that CBG was neuroprotective in mice with Huntington’s.
- Some types of cancer — another study showed that CBG destroys some types of cancerous cells.
- Antibiotic resistance — it has exceptional antibacterial properties.
CBG is much more potent than CBD — hence why consulting your doctor is highly recommended before trying these products. At any rate, due to its potency, CBG could do a much better job of alleviating the mood, anxiety, and depression in users than CBD.
All in all, CBG is showing immense potential, which is why some companies, Kush Queen being one of them, are already making CBG-infused products. Nevertheless, all things considered, CBG products could become not only more popular than CBD ones but more expensive as well.
