Mike Bites: Tyson Announces Earlobe-Shaped Weed Edibles
Mike Tyson, the baddest man on the planet, has done it once again! Namely, he introduced yet another ingenious cannabis product — an ear-shaped edible that has a small piece “bitten off.”
This is a clear reference to the infamous moment when the heavyweight champion bit off a piece of Evander Holyfield’s ear during the 1997 fight. What’s more, the edibles are appropriately named “Mike Bites.”
Not only is Tyson building a career in the acting (and weed) industry, he’s also feeling “better than ever,” as he reports. And all thanks to the magical properties of the plant. In fact, he’s praising both the physical and emotional support that marijuana has given him ever since he started using it regularly.
So much so that he came back into the ring for an exhibition match versus Roy Jones Jr. — Tyson was 53 years of age at the time and was toking up right before the fight!
However, this was not the first time Tyson made a reference to his boxing career through his cannabis ventures.
Back in 2020, Tyson launched the Undisputed 87 CBD brand, honoring the year when he became the undisputed champion, crowned by the WBC, WBA, and IBF.
In 2021, Iron Mike also launched Tyson 2.0 — a new line of products, which now include these ear bites, that were first announced by an Instagram post on the brand’s IG profile.
And although we’re yet to receive an official release date, the marketing campaign is in full swing! Time will tell whether this was an ingenious marketing move or just another flop, much like his 40-acre cannabis farm in California.
